Audlem 5As members on Blockbusters

Audlem 5As members, mother and son, Lesley and David Davenport, will be appearing on the TV quiz show Blockbusters, this week.

The show has been revived with Radio 2 DJ Simon Mayo following in the footsteps of the legendary, Bob Holness.  Another difference is the contestants are adults as opposed to A Level students.

Lesley and David spent several days at the Sky studios in West London earlier this year bumping into Sky celebrities such as Georgie Thompson and Simon Thomas along the way.

Blockbusters is aired at 8.00pm every weekday evening on Challenge TV (Freeview Channel 46 and Sky Channel 125).  It’s then repeated the following afternoon at 4.00pm. Just for good measure, it’s repeated yet again on the following Saturday/Sunday mornings.

The format is ’stay on til you get knocked out’ or ‘stay on til you’ve played 5 Goldruns’, whichever happens first.

Lesley and David will make their first appearance towards the end of the show to be aired on Thursday 12th July.
