Audlem Aid's Spring Fair

(The website link that was here no longer works) The Audlem Aid charity shop is hoping to build on its spectacular 2005 success with a number of events starting with its Spring Fair on 1st April. The event is in the Methodist Church Hall and runs from 10.00am to 12.30pm.

Shop manager Ann Bowles says: "We made a tremendous effort in the last year thanks to a very dedicated group of helpers and are planning bigger and better events to raise more money for such a worthy cause."

Last year's £16,000 raised for Cancer Research UK compares with an average of £10,000 a year and was raised by selling bric-a-brac. If you would like to donate any items call into the Audlem Aid shop on Shropshire Street or call Ann Bowles on 01270 811253.
