Assistant Shop Manager required

Oxtail and Trotter are recruiting for an Assistant Shop Manager.

This is a new role and initially temporary as illness cover, but could become permanent if expansion plans and goals are achieved.

Lovingly restored, renovated and rejuvenated, the Oxtail & Trotter butchers shop in Audlem continues over 150 years of butchery business in the village. Launched in July 2012 it has been sympathetically transformed into a high quality, contemporary butchers.

Focusing on quality and freshness, with the aim to support other local producers and businesses in the area, Oxtail & Trotter is stocked from a selection of local suppliers and farms. All of our meat is 100% traceable and sourced, where possible, from local suppliers.

We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated person with retail/shop experience. Ideal candidates should have a passion for great food and customer service.

The role is mainly front of house so butchery skills are not essential but you will be expected to handle and cut and prepare meat for customers. Working days are Tuesday to Saturday.
