Art exhibition off to fine start

Peter and Christine Silvester write: "The first day of the art exhibition at Audlem Mill was a great success, with several works sold. Come along now to see a wide range of original paintings of canal scenes and other subjects – before they are all sold!

"The paintings include works by popular Audlem artist Sheila Webster, and also several artists from near by, including June Breese, George Baker, and the late Maureen Hinchliffe.

"The exhibition is open daily from 9.00am to 5.00pm, until 18th April."
