There's a fabulous range of art on display in the Methodist Hall over the Festival weekend.

Even more impressively, it's largely by local artists.

Do check it out – it's open from 1.00pm today and from 11.00am tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday.

You will find work by both Audlem St James School pupils and the older students from Brine Leas.

The various Audlem art groups – the relatively newly formed Audlem Art Group led by Christine Johnson that meets on alternative Fridays and the Watercolour Group that meets on Wednesday mornings and is tutored by Stuart Watkinson – are both there in strength.

We think you will also be surprised by the sheer quality of the work of these and other local artists – professional and amateur.

There's also a display by the local group Crafty Chat.

And then there is costume design by Monique Hollinshead and the results of her Costume Workshop held yesterday. Amazing what you can achieve with black bin bags!

The photographs go only a small way in capturing the amount of local talent. Do try and pop in over the next two days. Do click on each image to enlarge.
