ARS Wednesday Wanderers Walk

Wednesday July 8th

The next Wednesday Wanderers Walk is on the 8th July, and will be led by Peter Jackson. Meeting time is 2.00 p.m. in the Town Hall Car Park.

We will leave the Car Park and head for Monks Lane, which will lead us to Longhill Lane and then to Hankelow and the pond, where we will have a short break. Don t forget your refreshments.

We will then head for Manor Farm across a field to the A529, then take a right to Hankelow Mill and follow the lane towards the canal, and our return to The Shroppie.

The distance of the walk is 5 miles.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.

Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.

Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
