ARS next Wednesday

Audlem Ramblers (ARS) Next Wednesday Walk, 23rd July

The next Wednesday Ramble is on the 23rd July, and will be led by Peter Jackson. Meeting time is 2.00 p.m. in the Town Hall Car Park.

The walk will head for The Pond at Hankelow, via Salford, Mount Pleasant, Sparrowy Spout Lane, and Longhill Lane. We will then have a short break at Hankelow Pond, and then head for The Parkes, Mill Lane and back to the Village Car Park.

The walk is 5.5 miles long, and there are 6 stiles to negotiate.

Hopefully, the weather will be kind to us, and don t forget your refreshments.

NB. All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
Non-members of Audlem Rambling Society (ARS) are welcome to come on a walk but are expected to join ARS and pay the membership fee after a trial walk or two.
