ARS local walk on February 22nd

Audlem and Buerton

Jeanette Shenton is leading the next ARS walk around Audlem and Buerton on Saturday 22nd February 2025.

Meet at Audlem Car Park to leave at 9 am.

Audlem circular walk approx. 5 miles

We will start the walk from the public car park following on to Holmes Bank/Bagley Lane/Woore Road/Audlem Cricket Club and back to Audlem.

The walk is mainly on fields, tracks and quiet lanes. There are 8 stiles to navigate but all are in good condition.

When I did the recce it was muddy in parts but not too bad considering the time of year.

Meet at Audlem carpark to depart at 9 am – a reminder that Audlem carpark is now fee paying if you intend to leave a car there – £3 for the day.

NB All walkers must have suitable footwear and be prepared for adverse weather, carry food and water to last for the entire walk and be suitably fit for the various lengths of walk.
Each walk is led by a nominated leader who will carry some first-aid equipment. The leader has the right to refuse to include in a group anyone who is felt not be adequately equipped.
