ARS in Vienna?

An Audlem Online regular reader, currently on a European tour, has sent us this photo taken a couple of days ago in Vienna.

He wonders if the reputation of ARS, the Audlem Ramblers Society, has reached the middle of Europe, the ancient and beautiful capital of the Habsburg Empire.

Or maybe ARS are walking there at present, and it's just a mobile direction sign they take with them to help walkers navigate in less-known parts of the world.

Unfortunately for our photographer, we understand that ARS has yet to develop a Continental programme. Although, as yesterday's News announced, the rambling group is off to another country this coming Saturday – Wales!
