ARS heading to Malvern Hills

This month's ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) trip is to the Malvern Hills this coming Saturday, 11th October. This is a lovely ridge walk with great views into Wales and across the Cotswolds.

The total length is about 11 miles, with a ridge height only just over 1000ft – but there are a few ups and downs and it is reasonably strenuous if you do the whole distance. There will be cars strategically placed to allow shorter walks/early finishes. The first is approximately 5 miles from the start at the Malvern Hills Hotel. There are then a number of ways down to Malvern itself, reducing the walk to as little as 8 miles.
