In gloriously sunny weather – summer having arrived at last in mid-September – ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) members enjoyed a ten-mile hike along the North Wales coastal range yesterday from Conwy Marina to Llanfairfechan.

With views out across the sea to the Great Orme, Puffin Island and Anglesey, it's a walk to savour in weather as pleasant as yesterday's. It was followed by a return by train along the coast and a final mile through Conwy itself and along the estuary to the waiting cars at Conwy Marina.

If you are interested in joining ARS on their monthly expeditions, check out their page on Audlem Online under Organisations/Sports. The next walk is on 10th October tackling the Nantlle Ridge in North Wales with a back up walk in Shropshire if the weather is unsuitable.
