Glancing through Cheshire East's meetings' minutes, as the web team is often doing on a quiet afternoon, we found the following list of community grants applied for and the council's decision under 'Cabinet Member for Strategic Outcomes'.

There were no applications in a lengthy list, that we could see from the Audlem area. But publishing the list might just encourage some local applications from sports and other groups.

Clearly, as the committee that looks at the applications turns some down and defers others, applying is no guarantee of acceptance but one thing is certain: if you don't apply, you don't get an award.
