APH Committee Update & Secretary Vacancy

Committee Meeting

The advertised Public Hall AGM was held in October. We were delighted with the response with SEVEN new committee members stepping forward, bringing a variety of skills and experiences to supplement those of the existing committee members (who I was equally delighted had agreed to continue) – this takes us to an almost full and active committee. Thanks were recorded at the meeting to those who have stepped back from Public Hall roles, that have done so much over many years to keep the hall open for the use of community and in such good shape (in terms both of facilities and financial stability).

Secretary needed

There is still one key committee role which remains unfilled, which is that of Secretary. The core responsibilities of this role are:

Helping to prepare committee meeting agendas
Attending committee meetings (held in the evening once a month)
Capturing, writing up and circulating the meeting minutes
