AudlemOnline received this from a concerned resident.

A couple of days ago, we had a letter from Cheshire East, addressed to The Occupier, about a planning application to do with 'land off Audlem Road'. Being of an inquisitive nature, I explored and found that it is from Anwyl, applying to remove one of the Conditions in the decision that allowed them to build their 120 houses.

The Condition requires them to show, in their plans 'full details of the access and right turn lane'. They want to have the words 'and right turn lane' removed. This, in itself, would seem to be a bad thing, but in their Application, when asked to say why they want the words to be removed, they have written 'Please see the submitted information', rather than giving a reason, which is even worse. I have contacted the Cheshire East Case Officer for the Application, who has said that he will investigate and 'put something on the Internet'. The Comments from 'neighbours' highlight the safety issues of not having a right turn lane, and I haven't posted mine yet.

This all appears to refer to planning application 17/4183N which seeks a variation of condition 1 on application 13/2224N.

Comments can be submitted up to 27th September.
