Another blank cricket weekend

For the second week running all three of Audlem CC’s scheduled weekend matches were cancelled because of the weather. 

The 1st XI fell further behind in the promotion race as some of their rivals managed to play, whilst their match at Norbury fell foul of the weather.  They remain in fourth place in Division 2 but are now 60 points away from second place with nine matches remaining.

The 2nd XI remain in sixth place in Division 4 despite their home match with Stalybridge St Paul’s being called off.

Poppyfield’s second visit of the season to the Gorse Croft was also a victim of the weather.

On Saturday the 1st XI entertain next-to-bottom Didsbury, whilst the 2nd XI have a scheduled blank date as there are an odd number of teams in Division 4.  The Sunday XI welcome Nomads to the Gorse Croft.
