After the criticism Audlem Online has raised after a recent 70 minute wait for an ambulance for an emergency call out, it's good to hear the following from a local resident:-

"We needed to call on the ambulance service last Saturday morning, when my partner was seriously hurt by her horse at the livery yard in Coole Lane. The paramedic team took approx. 15 minutes to respond and whisked her to Leighton with a suspected open fracture. We have nothing but praise for the team who were doing a 12 hour shift, and the doctors and nurses at A&E who dealt quickly and efficiently with the patient. I understand concerns over the response time from another resident's experience, but I just thought that we would also add our recent experience to the site."
