Temporary part-time position, 8 hours per week for 6 months; £9.30 per hour. Some extra hours may become available.
Following expansion of our services during the pandemic, Audlem & District Community Action (ADCA) are seeking an Experienced Cook to prepare lunches for our members at one of our day clubs or lunch clubs.
You will be catering for up to 10 people under current Covid restrictions. If these are lifted, you may be catering for up to 20 people.
The successful candidate will be responsible to our Development Coordinator and will be responsible for all aspects of meal preparation in well-equipped modern kitchens, with help from our staff and volunteers.
You will source ingredients and prepare nutritious meals to delight our members and volunteers according to menus agreed with our Chef.
We expect you to understand the importance of and be experienced in the preparation of fresh ingredients, and to be experienced in a range of cooking techniques.
Relevant food preparation certificates are essential.
You must have access to your own transport, as you may be working in different venues across Audlem and District.
Note: Appointment is subject to DBS clearance and a probationary period.
