Many thanks to all who attended yesterday's Annual Parish Meeting in the Public Hall and for helping to make it such a huge success.
The room was full of people, from children representing brownies, scouts and 5As to adults representing their various clubs and organisations.
In one part of the room, an amazing contraption made up of a bicycle wheel rigged up to a cardboard bell seemed to be part of the audition for joining the bell ringers.
And in another corner passers-by were being encouraged to have a go at crown green bowling. Several people seemed to have signed up for a trial run. I hope they subsequently join the club.
Thanks again to all who contributed in any way to one of the best Annual Parish Meetings that Audlem has ever held. Everyone played their part, but a special thanks must go to our Parish Council Clerk, Kirstin Dixon, who organised the whole event so magnificently.
