Angry Birds at the Youth Club

When we originally saw the title of this article, we thought it must refer to some of the clientele, or even the organisers, of the Youth Club – but this turns out to be just a Pavlovian gynophobic kneejerk reaction on our part, for which we apologise – Eds.

This Wednesday saw youth club making Angry Birds, no we were not throwing stones at crows, but using that age old technique of Pom Pom making to create characters from that well known game.

Of course as is the way of these things it quickly got out of hand when the competitive element crept in and using every colour to make the biggest densest ball became the goal.

Needless to say we did have a few disasters, but any stray wisps might find their way into lining the nests of the local birds, making them happy rather than very annoyed.
