Excitement mounts in readiness for the annual Audlem Methodist church production next week, as everyone’s favourite chocolatier comes to town.

Sunday afternoon was one of the final rehearsals. I was able to watch from the pews and see the hard work of the cast come together. Brimming with fudge-mallow delight, the cast of children tell the story of a young boy’s adventures in the whipplescrumptious world of a famous chocolatier and the four children he meets along the way.

The all youth cast are a joy to watch, retelling the story with humour, enthusiasm and excitement.
