Many in the village will have seen or heard the Air Ambulance circling around slowly at about 9.30 this morning.
It seems as if a visiting boater had an accident falling from their narrow boat onto the hard surface of Audlem Wharf near the Shroppie Fly.
A NWAS ambulance has also attended the scene – both the air and land ambulances arrived at approximately the same time – and the NWAS are caring for the injured person.
It is the second time in a week that the Air Ambulance has been to Audlem. Our thanks to Peter Oxley for the photograph taken this morning.
