ADCA to star in Tier 2: The Sequel

Well, what a month that was! One of those months that seemed to stretch... and stretch... ... and stretch... ... ... But it's over, and the ADCA Trustees have Zoomed to consider how we will operate in the 'new' Tier 2 environment through December and into the New Year while we all look forward hopefully to the vaccination rollout.

We've taken advice from Cheshire East's Public Health Director, from CVS Cheshire East, and from our own Audlem Medical Practice team and have decided that ADCA's Covid-secure groups will re-open from Tuesday 8 December.

ADCA Clubs

The Tuesday Club and Wednesday Group will continue to meet in Hankelow Methodist Hall on a fortnightly invitation-only rota. Helen our chef is working hard on Christmas delights, you'll be delighted to hear!

The Friday Coffee Club will continue to meet in the Thornton Room, also on a fortnightly rota.

Our strict Covid-19 protocols will remain in force. As before, our members will be temperature checked on arrival, and anybody who is feeling unwell is asked not to attend.

Carers' Support Group

The Carers' Support Group will meet in the Thornton Room in the Annexe every Wednesday, also by rota invitation.

Carers who cannot come to the Annexe can join by Zoom on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month (9 and 23 December, 13 and 27 January).

Home Support Service

Our Home Support Service Click here is still available for anyone who needs it, providing shopping deliveries, prescription collection and telephone support. Call 07984 785907 between 9am and 12noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Outside these hours you can leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Medical Transport

And our Medical Transport Service Click here is there to help if you need to get to medical appointments but have no other means of transport. Call 07984 785907 between 9am and 12noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please give us as much notice as possible!

Happy news for 2021 !

Early in 2021 we will be opening a NEW LUNCH CLUB over in Broomhall & Sound, with the support of Wrenbury Together.

Two new ADCA staff will be joining our existing team to take this project forward.

Our current clubs are nearly at capacity, so it's wonderful to be able to contemplate inviting NEW PEOPLE to a new ADCA lunch club!

The launch will be gradual to give our new staff, volunteers and new members time to get to know each other. Full details will be published as soon as possible.
