ADCA says "Thank you"

What a great day!

On behalf of the ADCA Trustees, I would like to warmly thank the very pleasingly large number of brave souls who said "Boo! Buzz off!" to Bert and defiantly breezed along to ADCA's Christmas Craft Fair in the Public Hall last Saturday, determined to enjoy themselves.

What a great day! The atmosphere in the hall was so jolly it was quite surprising not to see Santa himself Ho-Ho-Ho-ing among the stalls (though, to be fair, there were a lot of avatars scattered about representing him!).

(Sadly, amidst all the jollity, I personally failed to correctly estimate the weight of the Audlem Guides' cake. Gutted.)

Speaking of cake our refreshments team worked hard all day and their delicious snacks and cakes and drinks hot and cold were appreciated by all, with many folks availing of the 'Tea Table' arrangement, which made for great conversation and interaction. Nobody wanted to get up from it! A warm thank you is due to them as well!

Our bean counters haven't quite finished totting up but they assure me we have done "very well!", and so we will definitely be back next year. We hope all our lovely stall holders will be back too – it's wonderful to see so much talent and enterprise on display.

As you know, all profits from this event help ADCA to maintain and develop our services, and we thank you all again for coming, and look forward to seeing you next year!
