Audlem and District Community Action (ADCA) has recently launched three new services to add to the Tuesday Day Club that was the original purpose of the Charity and the Coffee Club that has become a regular feature of village life at the Lord Combermere on Friday mornings.
This service provides individual support to people who are either housebound or who cannot easily join in social events. ADCA matches individual volunteers to members so as to provide regular visiting support and friendship. The befriending service now provides support to carers who are looking after a family member.
If you need to get to a health appointment at the GP Practice, local clinics or hospitals but have difficulty with transport then please contact us to see if we can assist you.
From April 2014, ADCA is supporting the local Carers' Group which now meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday morning between 10 and 12 noon at the Lord Combermere.
The Support Group is open to everyone who provides care support to family members, friends or neighbours. Please drop in for coffee and chat, advice and support.
This has just been completely overhauled to include the new services – click here to find out the details about ADCA.
