ADCA Clubs Out on the Water

Shout out to Overwater Marina and Overwater Wheelyboat Services

Two hugely enjoyable outings along the canal and around Overwater Marina have been taken by members of two ADCA groups.

Firstly, 8 carers and 6 people living with dementia, along with 5 supporting volunteers, who all attend ADCA’s Thursday Club (our dementia support service), had a simply wonderful time.

Secondly, 7 carers who are members of ADCA’s Carers Support Group had a separate outing which was at least as much fun!

We want to say a very big thank you to the boat crews, to the Wheelybus volunteer drivers, and to John Humphries of Wheelyboat Services for organising everything, not forgetting Martino and the fabulous staff at Café at Bridge 80 for the excellent lunches.

And thank you to our volunteers for helping us make this possible!
