Over 50 members, carers, volunteers, staff and supporters of ADCA (Audlem and District Community Action) attended our AGM last week in the Annexe Small Hall at the Public Hall.

Coffee and cakes were enjoyed by all and it was good to see so many people, many of whom contributed to the discussions on the activities over the past year in all the services which ADCA now provides.

Attached is a copy of the Chairman's AGM report for information. It has been a challenging year for ADCA financially, but given all the additional donations and grants we have received from local people and organisation along with our success, with partners, in obtaining a New Homes Bonus grant, we are now back on a sound financial footing. Also attached is a leaflet which describes the services which ADCA now provides to isolated or vulnerable adults and older people as well as carers in our area.

ADCA is particular in need of additional voluntary drivers who help with our Medical Transport Service and volunteers to help with our Befriending Service. Please contact ADCA if you are interested in becoming a volunteer with us.
