On the 5th of May, with 10 volunteers, there was a wet tidying session of the conservation area at the north end of church fields.
ADAS has a light touch to conserving this area for the benefit of wildlife, insects and for the enjoyment of the village.
The volunteers collected wood and cut up branches . The cuttings were used to create a log pile.
A separate pile was created supplemented by leaves and brash. This will appeal to insects , mammals and birds.
