ADAS Quiz Night Success

The Lord Combermere was full to capacity last Tuesday evening for the ADAS charity quiz night.

Ralph Warburton tested our brains with a varied selection of subject quiz rounds and in the interval we enjoyed delicious sandwiches provided by the Lord Combermere.

The raffle was followed by a mini auction and a magnificent total of £400 was raised during the evening which will be used within the Village to provide Christmas trees and lighting as well as floral displays and various other ADAS projects.

Many thanks are due to everyone who helped make the evening such a success – Jo and Alan our hosts, our quizmaster Ralph, everyone who donated raffle and auction prizes and finally all who attended the event.

I think everyone enjoyed the evening but most important of all it was fun!
