ADAS Out On A School Night

The hanging baskets arrived on Wednesday morning and spent the afternoon in the Boss's garden resting from their journey. Our wheel barrow squad ferried the baskets down to waiting ladder crews to put them in place. Two baskets for the fire station were ceremoniously dumped, I mean placed, on the grass at 'Moseley's bed' as fire crew were hastily assembling to get the pump out to a call.

Clearing pavements of weeds in front of St James' Church and the shops took some time and several bodies, but the end result looks so much better. This is in preparation of the North West In Bloom judges visit on 16 July. Fingers crossed for another GOLD please.

You may have noticed some of the troughs sited on verges such as Windmill Drive, Broadways and Emberton looking quite skewed, this has been a deteriorating problem over a couple of years, caused by CE grass cutters and their hefty machines knocking into the troughs. Top Brass of ADAS committee set to with tools and muscle to start the straightening programme at Windmill Drive. Only five more to do!
