ADAS celebrates local businesses at Seasonal Fair

Thursday night saw the first Seasonal Fair organised by ADAS. A grand total of 17 local businesses displayed their wares in a social evening for all the community.

The Audlem and District Amenities Society hosted this event to provide an evening for local pre-Christmas shopping and a chance for the businesses to showcase their products.

Several of the companies took part in an on stage presentation, including Audlem's own Ronnie Barker- Joe Benson, entertaining all with his illustration of the Newsagent's range!

There was great feedback from the businesses that this had been a success, with promising sales and orders taken, and that they had enjoyed the opportunity to have a good chat in social surrounding with their customers.

Community eventIt was primarily a community event rather than a fundraiser, but ADAS did clear a small profit that will boost our much needed funds for protecting, supporting and providing village amenities. The next example of our efforts will be the Christmas lights, as we aim to keep Audlem's position in the twinkling hall of fame of South Cheshire.

So, our sincere thanks to all who took part, bought tickets and came along in the rain and gave custom to our local retailers. Your support is much appreciated by us all and we hope you enjoyed the evening!
