Some time ago we placed a bench on the land alongside the Co-op as a test. Firstly, to see if people would sit there – they do. Secondly, to see if birds would poop on it, they don't – or rather, they haven't yet! The area is looking unloved, but it is far from unloved. It has been the subject of many an ADAS meeting to decide on best course of action.
The plan, and it's a hefty one, is to make the area pretty (tech spec to follow) and to place two shiny new benches in situ. The current 'test' bench will be moved over to the BCBM area.
The two benches we have purchased (they are in a hidden location until the big reveal) came about through ADAS being chosen as a recipient of the Co-op community funding. So a huge thank you to the Co-op, all who voted for us and to all who bought Co-op products.
I switched from my usual brand of peanut butter to the Co-op version to help the funds – I have no intention of switching back.

A man and a digger will scrape the area – thank you, Dylan Jones
Tech Spec – Part 3:
We are meeting on Sunday at 1000hrs under the Beech Tree, tools in hand, yellow jackets on backs. Many hands make light work – so some such proverb – please feel free to join us.
Many thanks
