Yesterday we announced the winners of the ADAS awards on Audlem Online.

Unfortunately, because the webteam was away and depending upon a somewhat slow internet connection, it was not possible to publish the photos until last night of the ADAS award winners.

We are now pleased to put that failure right by publishing Phil Baker's photos from Thursday night's ADAS annual general meeting.

As Ralph Warburton reported yesterday:

The Citizen of the year is Ann Bowles of The Audlem Charity Shop. A tremendous hard working leader of a great group of villagers working to raise funds for charities – this year they are supporting St  Luke's Hospice and The Donna Louise Children's Hospice.

The new Young Citizen award went to Henry Bradshaw who is a shining example of all the good there is in the young people of the community.

The Award for Best Garden was presented by David Latchford to Christine and Roy Plume of School Lane for their superb garden and the Best Commercial trophy was presented to Tim and Nikki Ball of Audlem CycleSport.

The Citizen Awards were presented by ADAS chair Julie Hesketh and the Garden Awards by David Latchford.
