This year's floral displays have been wonderful and thanks are due to the many volunteers who helped with watering during the dry summer.

However the time has come to remove the bedding plants to make way for winter pansies and spring bulbs.

This year the Cubs and Beavers will again be helping with this task

  • Wednesday 3rd October -18:40 – Cubs assemble at the Buttermarket
  • Thursday 4th October – 17:10 – Beavers assemble at the Buttermarket
  • Saturday 6th October – 10:00 – Volunteers assemble in the Lord Combermere car park to rip out any remaining plants and replenish compost
  • Saturday 13th October – 10:00 – Volunteers assemble in Lord Combermere Car park to plant pansies and bulbs

All Volunteers are most welcome – please bring your own hand tools.

From 3rd October onward feel free to remove plants to use in your own garden but please remove all plants from the tub at the same time to speed up the process.
