The ADAPT Saturday Market is held between 10.00-12.00, in the Lord Combermere car park.

Fresh local produce for you to buy, come early and see what there is.

Everything depends on the weather, so hopefully this Saturday 16th there will be:

  • Runner beans.
  • Beetroots
  • Onions
  • Shallots
  • Fennel
  • Maybe courgettes and marrow
  • Red Falstaff apples
  • Bramley cookers
  • Heritage Rev Wilkes cookers
  • Honey
  • Eeggs
  • Dahlias
  • Sweet peas

There may be more items, there may be less – but there is always lots of colour and friendly chat.

APPLE PRESSING!

Yes it's apple pressing time. The first apple pressing of the year will be held on the Saturday, 30th September, between 10.00-2.00, under the Butter Market.

If you have had a chance to freeze your spare apples don't forget to get them out of the freezer the night before. If you have fresh apples that's fine bring them to us we will chop, crush and squeeze your apples and put lovely apple juice into your own bottles.

There will also be more apple pressing on the 7th October. A great way of using you spare apples and windfalls.

See you all soon.

Thanks,
Val Mackin
