Under the gazebo in the Lord Combermere car park on Saturday morning between 10.00 and 12.00. Selling locally grown produce for the benefit of the people of the amazing Audlem. Come early and get the best of the crop. Shopping local is best!
If everyone has managed to get out and pick what the wind and rain didn't affect we should have loads of lovely seasonal veg, fruit and flowers for sale on the stall this week. Eggs with the yellowist yolks!
Plus local honey and bees wax candles. Buy seasonal and buy local, better than that have a go at growing your own, it's never to late to start growing something in your garden. Every week there is a lot of gardening talent on the stall if you need some encouragement come and have a chat.
The first apple pressing last Sunday afternoon went well. If you have some apples and want to get them made into lovely apple juice. Any apples will do windfalls or straight off the tree, cookers or eaters or a mixture. Bring your apples along to the Butter Market on Saturday between 12.00 and 2.00pm, last pressing 1.45. If you can't make then come this Sunday and next Sunday between 2.00-4.00pm last pressing on Sunday will be 3.45. This is a great opportunity to turn apples into lovely juice. Don't forget to bring some bottles along to put the juice in.
If you want to know more about the Apple Pressing or about Adapt Food Group ask at the Saturday Market.
