The stall under the gazebo is back! You will find lovely local produce for sale in the Lord Combermere car park between 10.00- 12.00 on Saturday morning. Come early and get the pick of the crop!
This week is a multi-national market, helpers from both ends of world. They have come especially to help one of our best growers celibate his 80th birthday, do come and say hello to them! Back to what might be picked from local gardens this week, big leafy lettuces, and baby beets the start of a great salad also the odd courgette. The last of the red currants, unfortunately the hot weather got to the early runner beans, although lots of flowers and lots of the honeymans bees, no beans.
Local honey, and local eggs. Lots of flowers beautifully scented sweet peas, annual begonias and miniature nicotiana. This is a selection of produce and plants to be found this week on the food group stall. All picked fresh and local, a fantastic facility Audlem has!
