ADAPT SATURDAY MARKET held in the Lord Combermere car park between 10.00-12.00 Saturday morning. Come early and see what plants and produce there is to buy. Always fresh, always local, always lots of chat and information.

The summer produce is beginning to filter through. This week fresh gooseberries, black and red currents for jam and fantastic summer pudding. There is still rhubarb for the Sunday crumble. For the salad some rocket leaves. Plus anything else that has ripened!

The fox has only left one hen who lays green eggs if she has been busy there may be one box of green eggs. Lots of brown eggs though, so you can still have poached eggs Sunday morning.

We are not mentioning honey; the bees have been busy but the honey man hasn't got it into the jars yet. You never know, there maybe some on Saturday!

Lots of plants: celeriac, self blanching celery, main crop cabbage and savoy. Aubergine and nasturtium, begonias and french marigolds.

These are just some of the items you will find on the stall this week.

ADAPT FOOD group bring you this fantastic facility each week, come and see what fun time we have.

Good luck to all the open gardens this weekend!
