This Saturday, our market shall be having, Free Range Eggs, last week they were so fresh they were still warm.
Also a new batch of Honey which is dark from the hedgerow flowers of Hatherton.
There will be soft fruit, red currants and gooseberries, a few runner beans are also ready, freshly made jams and preserves, not forgetting the delicious cakes and gorgeous sweet peas.
We have been recycling old honey jars, carrier bags and egg boxes every week for a few years and now we are helping Audlem Guides with their recycling scheme.
Bring along to the market:- soft plastic bags and packaging from Bakery, Cheese, Biscuits, Cakes, Crackers packets, old marigold gloves- any condition!!, old tooth brushes and toothpaste tubes, and aluminium foil from Ferrero Rocher wrappings or similar.
Funds from these recycled materials support Audlem Guides.
