The ADAPT Food Group's recipe for May is great for picnics,tea parties and treats.
Mix flour, marg, sugar and bicarb into crumbs. Add fruit, spices and milk, stir well.
Cover and leave overnight, put into 3 x 1lb loaf tins lined with greaseproof paper.
Bake in a slow oven 100-120c for approximately two to two and a half hours. Leave to cool
in tin. Ready to eat, but best left for a week or so in an airtight container.
