Those lazy hazy days of summer are here, but get up early and visit the market for the freshest produce,

• free range eggs,
• cabbage,
• lettuce,
• red and black currants,
• sweet peas,
• herbs,
• dahlias,
• apple juice,
• chard.

10am till noon under Audlem's iconic old Buttermarket, nestling beneath the watchful eyes of St James Church.

And....

with the return of the long awaited confectioner, we shall have those delicious cakes and preserves on this week's market.
