A hardy group of ADAPT members braved the freezing weather to attend the January meeting on Wednesday.

ADAPT (Audlem & District Acting Positively for Transition) is a new group which supports initiatives to create a sustainable and resilient community for the future and meet the challenges of peak oil and climate change.

Simon Ross from the Marches Energy Agency gave an inspiring presentation which outlined MEA's collaborative projects in Shropshire. They are keen to expand their remit into South Cheshire and will hopefully be working with ADAPT and other local groups on projects to benefit our area –

ADAPT meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 8.00pm in the Baptist Church and a warm welcome awaits new members. Further information and contact details will be available on this website shortly.
