Make your voice heard at Audlem's Climate and Nature Event!

One of the 9 things we can all do about climate change according to the Grantham Institute is to make our voices heard by those in power. There will be several opportunities to do this at Audlem's Climate and Nature Event on Saturday, 18 September.

The event takes place at the Buttermarket between 10 am and 4 pm, but between 10.30 am and 12 noon you can talk with visiting local decision makers and experts:

Dez Winskill, Vice-Chair, Audlem Parish Council.

Rachel Bailey, Audlem Ward Councillor, Cheshire East Council.

Quentin Abel, Climate Champion and Vice-Chair Environment and Waste Committee, Cheshire East Council.

Suzie Akers-Smith, Walking and Cycling Champion, Cheshire East Council.

Dr Sharon George, Researcher and Lecturer in Environmental Sustainability and Green Technology, Keele University.

Other ways you will be able to make your voice heard at Saturday's event are:

* voting for what you think Audlem Parish Council's climate action priorities should be

* signing a petition to leaders at the COP26 climate summit

* responding to a questionnaire about climate action in Audlem and the Audlem Carbon Emissions Reduction (ACER) project

Come along and speak up for nature on Saturday! For more information about these activities click here
