Accident on A525

We understand there was a serious accident near the layby between Lightwood Green and Rookery Farm on the A525 west of Audlem yesterday afternoon.

Police closed the road and Canal Cat has reported on Chatbox that he was turned back.

There were at least two ambulances in attendance.

As yet, we have no confirmed news from the authorities.
