Accident at Swanbach

Just as the Chatbox was featuring posts about the dangers of the junction at Swanbach for vehicles joining the A529 Audlem – Market Drayton from Coxbank and Bagley Lane, we have been told there was an accident there.

It appears that a local resident's car and a motorcycle were involved in a collision and the motorcyclist had to be taken to hospital, it is thought with leg injuries.

It perhaps underlines the concerns expressed in the Chatbox posts about the need for a speed limit – a 40mph limit has been agreed, we understand, but still awaits implementation – and possibly other measures at that junction.
