A529 closure Today

The Cheshire East roadworks schedule indicates that, starting this morning (Monday 27th March), the A529 (Green Lane) road to Market Drayton will be closed from the Whitchurch Road junction to the Mill Lane junction.

The purpose of the closure is to allow tree-cutting works.

The closure period will be from 9am to 3pm

The closure notice allows for the works to take up to five days.

The illuminated sign at the A525/A529 junction indicates that it is Audlem Road to be closed, but as far as AudlemOnline can ascertain it is Green Lane, not Audlem Road, which will be affected.
