'A525 open again' to Woore

AudlemOnline has just received the following message from a local resident:

"The A525 is, I believe, open as of now though some of the diversion signs have yet to be collected.

"There are works being carried out at the junction with Candle Lane just outside Woore but that isn't affecting traffic."

A test run has now confirmed the road is open although it looks as if a little more work may take place in Woore. Apart from that, it's now a beautiful surface from the border to Woore.

Signs still remain in Audlem diverting traffic via Market Drayton but perhaps they have been firmly cemented into the ground to provide even longer protection to the residents of Stafford Street from the long-distance HGVs.
