A525 collision in Buerton

The A525 was closed for a time this morning as firefighters were required to help a woman that had become trapped in a vehicle following a road traffic collision.

Two saloon cars and a tree were involved in the collision so the crew removed both doors from one of the cars to get the woman out, who was medically trapped.

Police were on the scene too.

We also understand that a cyclist came off his bike on the bends near the old chapel in Buerton early this morning.
