A very generous offer

AudlemOnline received this offer from a local young couple looking to do what they can to help others and especially the elderly and vulnerable during the virus crisis.

My partner and I live on Stafford Street in Audlem. We've decided that we'd like to offer to pick up groceries for elderly people / at risk people in the village who might struggle to get it themselves. The wait for ordering groceries online is getting longer and some people may not have computers.

To save people having to go out when they should be self-isolating, they can call us on 07885209179 or 07876764211. We'll pick up the items and leave them outside the resident's front door. We'll keep the amount we handle the food to a minimum and spray it down with dettol if possible. We've also been advised that people should wait 2-3 hours before collecting the food from outside their door.

We're two people in our twenties so we're not at risk ourselves and we'd love to help if we can. We have a car so we can deliver throughout Audlem.
