A Thank You from ASET

Party on the Park

A sold out Party on the Park 2023 was our most successful to date and moreover the weather gods were very kind to us.

We were privileged to have in effect two headline acts -- Roy Hemmings and the Dictionary of Soul and Chic Out! both of whom said they would love to return to Audlem at a future date.

Roy Hemmings, an original Drifter, now into his eighth decade, was on stage for 100 minutes and provided musicianship of the highest quality. Our experience over the past 24 years has taught us that to secure quality acts we have to book them well in advance, in fact it took two years to bring Roy Hemmings to Audlem but it was well worth the wait!

The dance floor (much enlarged from 2022) was at full capacity throughout the night with audience members of all ages enjoying the party atmosphere -- a sight to behold! It takes 12 months planning to organise Party on the Park and ASET works very closely with our suppliers to provide stage, sound and lightings, security, medical cover, mobile toilets, hire of the field (Cheshire East compliance), media coverage, printing and insurance cover.

In the current economic climate ASET is very grateful to our sponsors and advertisers -- special mention must go to Fletcher Strickland and his family of EPG Security Systems Ltd who have been our main sponsor for 12 years.

ASET, which consists of nine members, owes a huge debt of gratitude to our volunteers and support staff who are all part of the extended ASET family. Over the past couple of years our costs have risen significantly as you will appreciate but we are determined to protect the legacy of the past 24 years and provide a quality event at an affordable price to the village.

Party on the Park 2024 will take place on Saturday, 29th June and gazebo plots and tickets will be available from 1st September. Full line-up and details to be announced...
