A Spillage in the Village

Our photograph shows the clean-up operation going on late into this evening (Tuesday) after a spillage, apparently of agricultural slurry, occurred some time after 7pm.

The pavements around the village centre were badly affected, particularly outside the Lord C, to an extent that they were reported as having become quite dangerous.

To say nothing of the smell......
